that's my "cool tones"- eyeshadow palette - at least for the most. ;) first i had my MAC shadows in their little container pots and never planned on depotting them, but then they got so many that searching for a specific colour became quite time consuming. also changing in 30 pots for 5 lipsticks was a strong argument for me to depot. i did it with the hair straightener method, then put magnets on the bottom and some stickers where i wrote the colour name and the finish/texture on it - there are many helpful videos on youtube showing you how to.
i also took the plastic separator out of the palette, so i could fit in more than the regular 15 pans. and buying the palette from Hana (Mad About MAC) helped with saving money, too ;)
finish abbreviations:

what are your favourites in MAC? do you depot your eyeshadows? why/why not?

ReplyDeletecopperplate is wonderful! great texture (stupid mac doesn't make all their mattes in the matte² finish - look at shadowy lady!), great as an eyeshadow but i love it the most for my brows.
