Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush #64 Pink Explosion

because i was positively surprised with the quality of the Joues Contraste these days as i bought the shade Espiègle with their new spring collection, i was finally convinced to get another shade.

#64 Pink Explosion (4g - 36€) was released with the last fall look. it is a shimmery warm bright candy pink with silver sparkles.
some people reviewed it as a dupe for the Tweed Fuchsia blush from Chanel's holiday collection (which wasn't released in germany :/ ) - so i was even more intrigued although i already have a bunch of pink blushers.
as with all Joues Contrastes, the brush with this is reliably crap.
but the texture is really nice -  they aren't too pigmented that you have to be careful with and not overly shimmery although some of them swatch so. on the face they give a sheer wash of healthy colour.

i ordered at douglas.de and with the voucher code FB3GA i got a little clutch from Giorgio Armani Perfumes as GWP - i hope it's still available for you. you get it with every purchase, no minimum value or brand restrictions.
i also had a 5€ coupon code, so i could save a little bit (code: 242DMX2). i like to shop at the douglas online shop, they always have a lot of vouchers and GWP. delivery is always super fast within about 2 days and free delivery with 25€ purchase (even if you actually pay less because you used a voucher).

this is the clutch, i think i'll only use it as a make up bag.
samples/goodies: Chanel Chance EDT tester, Lancôme Génifique tester, 5€ coupon for the store.
as always in a velours pouch

here it is compared to my other bright bubblegum pinks:

top row: MAC Pinch O' Peach - Chanel Pink Explosion - NARS Angelika
second row: Bobbi Brown Pink Coral - MAC Pink Swoon

Bobbi Brown Pink Coral - MAC Pinch O'Peach - Chanel Pink Explosion - NARS Angelika - MAC Pink Swoon

as you can see, it's really not unique - i was surprised how it resembles NARS Angelika, as Angelika looks much cooler in the pan. even the shimmer bits are very comparable. both MAC shades have no shimmer, and the shimmer in the Bobbi Brown blusher is gold but not silver, and BB is more raspberry.
the satiny sheen on the Chanel Pink Explosion is quite pretty, though. i will definitely take a closer look at their permanent colour range for the Joues Contrastes. do you have any recommendations?
