next to the regular Blushes and striped BeachBlushes, Cargo also offers a gorgeous-to-look-at-sort called SuedeBlush.
these come in the same metal tin and cost the same 26$ (i think i paid less since i found this one on ebay) as the other blushes, but contain whopping 12g of product.
the SuedeBlushes look really interesting and beautiful with their base colour and sprinkles of other colours in them. they are softer and more shimmery compared to the BeachBlushes.
Gold Coast has a base colour of a tan mauve with sprinkles of soft coral and golden beige. mixed together, it's a peach colour with intense gold shimmer. the fine shimmer blends out nicely without creating a greasy finish and i think it suits my skintone/undertone much better than white or silver shimmer. the texture is fine and soft and has a high colour pay-off, so i need to apply the blush with a light hand to prevent a overly shimmery result. it creates a warm golden glow on my cheeks, i like to layer Gold Coast really sheerly over a matte pink blush as a blush topping. i think this would work nicely as a highlighter on deeper skin tones, too.
please check this overview post for more reviews on Cargo blushes.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty colour. I always worry that shimmer blushes are a little over the top, but this one looks really natural and pretty on you.
