Givenchy Prisme Again! Visage in #04 Impertinent Rose.

today i want to show you the Givenchy Prisme Again! Visage in #04 Impertinent Rose.
i only have the refill pan of it.
this is my rather "accidental" ebay shot, like when you bid and then you come back to your senses and wish you didn't -  but in the end win the auction. well, i was on a little Givenchy trip last month or so and went a bit cuckoo crazy on ebay. luckily i didn't win all the other auctions haha.
i must say i'm not disappointed about a new blush, and especially not if it's from Givenchy, but i don't think i need one more very light coloured blusher that also does not even come with a proper compact.
i paid about 15£ for this sucker and i think the shipping was quite expensive.
it's a powder with 4 different colours, all matte:
  • a pale baby pink
  • a light mauvey beige
  • a beige
  • a light pastel peach
i'm not even sure if this is a blusher for real or if it's maybe more like a finishing/compact powder since there is no online source for Givenchy in germany and this brand also is not sold anywhere near me.
it may be a finishing powder because:
  • it contains an unusually high amount of product for a blush (10g)
  • it comes in a refill pan which is also unusual for a blush
  • the colours are quite light and could match a light pink toned skin or act as a brightening shade like the Guerlain Meteorites in #2 (the pink one)
  • the finish is rather matte/satiny
  • it says visage on the packaging. this could also mean that you should slap it on your cheeks since they're also part of your "visage". oh, wait,  it also says "Compact Powder" on the packaging, now i see... damn it! that's why it's so invisible on my cheeks!
anyway, mixed together it's a very pale pink and pink stands for blush. period.
as i have mentioned, this stuff is nearly nonexistent on my cheeks. there is a slight slight hint of light pink when i really build it up. but now i'm forgiving it because i learned that it's just a compact powder.
in case NARS Sex Appeal is apparent as a bright flush on you, you could easily rock this as a blush.
oh man, me dorky have even swatched this in comparison to other blushes...
do you still want to see?
you have to, because we won't let make up photos go to waste, do we?

oh, and this has a beautiful rose scent.
ok, if we pretend that this is a blush, it's a fail of a blush because it's too sheer and dull in it's finish. the only plus is that scent.
i'll switch it to the compact powder mode now (and it's also allowed to move into the powder drawer and away from the blush drawer ;)) and will get back to you soon after testing it all over as a finishing product. as a powder it would be a perfect match for a very pink NW15.

now the pictures:

in different light conditions

each shade swatched individually, last swatch is the mixed colour.

this is how it looks worn:

without - with it on the cheeks
