MAC Style.

this week is quite MAC-heavy, isn't it?
well, still some more to come, and here is MAC Blush in Style. this is a shade of the permanent range, i have never noticed it until recently seen it in the favourites of someone. then cam google, and then came Visa ;)
i found it for a good price on allcosmeticswholesale.com, normally MAC blushes cost 22€/16.50£/18$ in the containers and 18€/13.50£/15.50$ as a refill pan. they contain 6g of product.
Style is a Frost finish blush, it's described as a coral-peach with gold shimmer. in the pan it may look rather boring but applied, the very fine gold (almost duochrome) shimmer is beautiful. on me, it's a pinky peach which leans more peach due to the golden sheen. looks like NARS Orgasm and NARS Luster had a baby.
it's more loosely pressed than other blush-finishes by MAC so it seems higher pigmented (in fact you just pick up more product than usual) but also less finely milled. since it's a frost formula, i have to be careful not to use too much because it will make me look greasy.
applied with a light hand, it gives me a soft summery pink cheek but built up it appears more coral-bronzy.
it blends out very well and lasts all day. if you like that duochrome effect with NARS Orgasm and Luster you should definitely take a look at this.
usually i only bought non-shimmery blushes by MAC, but now i'm kind of curious about Springsheen and the sort...
do you like shimmery MAC blushes? what would be your recommendation? could one justify to buy Springsheen when they already had NARS Orgasm and Deep Throat?
