MAC Blushes revisited: Hipness.

today my MAC Blushes revisited series continues with the shade Hipness. it's in a special packaging of a pea-green colour with starfish print on the lid since it was limited edition and released with To The Beach collection in summer 2010. however it already once came out with the Fafi collection in 2008.
it contains regularly 6g and did cost 22€ (in germany)/17£/19.50$ i believe (could have been a bit more due to the "special" packaging).

Hipness is a fresh grapefruit pink with loose multicolour glimmers. although stated as a Frost finish blush, i don't find it frosty at all. it applies rather satiny with the shimmers not very visible on the skin. it applies sheerly and evenly and blends out well even though the texture is just ok. it's finely milled but not very silky. the staying power is average.
the colour is a very beautiful fresh and natural warm pink on me. i think it's a very versatile, wearable blush for many different skin tones.

Hipness is quite similar to Becca Flowerchild, but it's less shimmery and doesn't have the fine golden shimmer like Flowerchild.
