  5. Oh. My. Word. Please tell me you're gonna review most of this stuff! Just quick snapshots and rapid reviews would be fine, as I know it would take up too much time other wise.

I'm mostly interested in the Beauty is Life palettes and all those gorgeous nail polishes!

    1. nail polish photos are almost all shot, i will release them soon if you wish! for most skin-/hair care and gadgets i will only do short reviews but the blush palettes will take some time to prepare (since i need to do before/after pictures for each colour and i only do wear 1 shade a day ;) )

    2. It's funny that you said that because I've bought so many products based on your reviews, so it's YOU that chose the best stuff. I'm only copying :)

Also, what color did you get in the Shu Uemura eyebrow pencil? I think I can read that is says "grey" but the letters are too small to be sure. I'm debating on seal brown or stone gray, it's just so hard to decide without being able to see them in person.

      Delete
    3. i got the brow pencil in 05 stone grey as i figured it would be more ashy than the other shade and would suit my hair colour better. haven't seen the other colour in real, though!

    1. i'm already in the process of swatching them, but such products take the most time to prepare since i only wear one colour a day and then i would need to do before- and after-photos of each, so it will take me at least 20 days of wearing make up = still about a month or so(?) to go for preparing the footage for the review.
please be a bit patient for that.

After reading your swatches and pictures of the how the color show up on your skin, i purchased 4 more NARS Blushes, i have 6 NARS blushes in total now. And I am thinking to pick up more blushes from other brands as well...I like your review and swatches since i have the smiliar skin tone like yours.

    1. Hi Megan!
i only bought the Clé de Peau refills and found them (2 eyeshadow quads and 1 blush duo) to fit perfectly into my Artdeco Magnum Palette altogether. mind you my Artdeco palette version is a bit older and it's slightly smaller than the ones they sell today.

  52. Hallo!:-)

      LG,

  57. Sekkisei Lotion is such a staple!
I have two Lavshuca Moist Melting Bars, RD-4 (love love love) and PK-5, same as you, but the colour looks oddly brown on me. :(

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. have you tried the Sekkisei? how did you like it?
on me, the PK-5 is not exactly pink either, it's rather a nude-ish shade with pink tinge. i really want to try some more Japanese lip products!

      Delete
    2. I've gone through a 100ml bottle and several samples, also tried the lotion and essence mask. I really, really love the smell! As for whitening, I can't say much (I'm already hardly discernable from the wall behind me xD), but I always felt like it brightened my skin a lot and made red marks fade if used long enough. Unfortunately, it is a little out of my budget, and at the moment, I am more focused on break-out control.

All the swatches I've seen online looked a lot pinker! But then again, I should have known, the PK shades are never what I'd define as "pink". I usually go for RS or sometimes RD shades.
Coffret d'or used to make extremely nice lipsticks back in the day. Not the ones they sell now, but very soft and buttery and shiny ones in their Glow ranges. I'm still moping over the loss of the glow ranges. But you can still get some on Adambeauty, so do try one if you haven't already (and can find a shade you like)!

  58. Where/how do you buy the Suqqu products at a reasonable price?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi Selphia,
i used to buy my Suqqu products on dollyleo.com, they had really great prices and sometimes discount codes so it ended up being quite reasonable. sadly, this onlineshop has closed it doors about 1-2 months ago so i'm also desperately looking for a place to buy Suqqu online at a reasonable price point again.
i know it's also available on ichibankao.com, but i think they sell at japanese prices which are already more expensive and add quite a bit onto it.
i guess you'll get the best deal at Selfridges in London at the Suqqu counter.

      hth keto
