Hourglass Extreme Sheen Lipgloss in Fortune

recently i ordered some lipglosses by Hourglass at Ludwig Beck Munich since the Extreme Sheen glosses get sorted out there due to some package-changing or so and they are marked down 50% (thank you so much Cream for posting about it!!!). originally they cost 23€ but now only 11€ - awesome deal.
one of them i wanted for a long time since it reminded me of MAC's Nymphette which i like so much so i will show it to you first: it's one of their Extreme Sheen glosses in the colour Fortune.
it comes in a clear acrylic tube with a glossy blackened bronze metal cap and a brush applicator. it contains 3.6g. the gloss has a strong sweet scent like crème brulée, very vanilla/caramel-ly. Fortune is a medium candy pink with strong gold sheen and shimmer, applied it's very reflective and almost has a metallic finish that makes your lips look very dimensional and full. so it's different from MAC Nymphette, which is rather shimmery and not frosty. this is quite a strong effect, so i like to pair it with a soft neutral eye make up so it's not "too much".
the texture is surprisingly light and creamy although the colour and effect implemented a much thicker consistency to me. it feels smooth and soft on my lips and is pretty moisturising. it doesn't settle into my lip lines or bleeds out. because of the rather thin consistency, it's non-sticky but the staying power is not very good. it stays for about 2.5 hours on me.
i don't know exactly how they want to re-vamp the packaging (or if they also plan to reformulate it or if they want to get rid of this line completely), but i think a classic flocked doe foot applicator would handle the thin but reflective texture a lot better than a brush applicator (which in fact is not bad, but needs a bit more effort to get a completely even and streak-free finish).
it's a beautiful colour (that would look nice with warm skin tones), a lovely texture but i don't think i'd pay full price for it (but on the other side i always save up for eyeshadows, brushes and blushes :P).

this is how it looks worn:

    @blumenband: thank you!

    @principessa constanze: nein, bei beck kann man nur per mail und telefonisch bestellen (telefonnummer kannst du meinem link entnehmen - es ist der store in den 5 höfen). einen online store gibt es nicht. aber auf zuneta.com gibt es auch hourglass.

    @cream: so ein quatsch, wenn, dann hab ich dich doch kopiert indem ich das zeug nach deiner ankündigung gekauft hab. sowas würd ich nie denken ;) je mehr reviews, desto besser.

    @bombones malos: hehehehe erzähl dann mal ob du ihn gekauft hast ...

    @luv2smilexo: yes, but it's not particularly this gloss. i'm quite stingy when it comes to lip products and only buy some once in a while.

    @evie: thanks!
