Catrice new range: eyeshadow quad "30 OMG I Want That!".

this is the Absolute Eye Colour quad in 30 OMG I Want That! (omg what a name! do they really think they are that great? haha), quite a smokey palette.
it costs 4.49€ and contains 8g of product in total (the bigger pans contain 2.5g, the smaller ones 1.5g).
again, i am very pleased with the packaging. although a Shu Uemura rip-off, these are totally new to the german cosmetic brands. the palettes are of solid clear acrylic material, look clean and sleek. i like that they don't contain a mirror or applicators, useless features to me. they store really well, and you can always see what colours are in your compacts and the packaging is flat so they lay well next to/on each other. with this palette the pans are also glued in a bit wonky like with my other one.
this palette contains:
  • a shimmery deep bronzey brown with a gold sheen, it has a medium pigmentation and feels a bit waxy and gritty. it blends out too orange/reddish for my colouring and can make my eyes look sore. but if i pack it on more heavily, it's ok.
  • a satin charcoal (which is meant to be black i think, but it's just not black enough...) with multicolour shimmer. it has a good pigmentation and applies evenly and smooth. it blends out well and has only minimal fall out. but blended out, the shimmers are also swept away and it leaves a satin dark charcoal shade.
  • a shimmery cream shade with gold glitter. totally useless since very flaky, sheer and doesn't adhere to the skin unless foiled. but even then, it behaves rather badly, doesn't go on evenly and has some fall out.
  • a shimmery anthracite grey. it has many multicolour shimmer bits. it's firmly pressed and applies only sheer. it has some blue tinge to it. remembers me of Catrice The Knoble Knights, but darker and more blueish.
this palette acts ok as a smokey eyes palette, but definitely needs a better light shade. i don't find it as versatile as the other palette i own (10 The Season's Must Have) since the brown isn't usable for me when blended out and the cream is not acceptable in quality.

i'm asking myself right now, if one could customize these palettes by depotting the shades you don't like/need and put in the shades you want. i know some girls depot the single shadows and also the duos (which the smaller pan would fit in the small pans of the quad). i wouldn't depot those nice packagings and throw them away, they are so nice and slim.

this is how it looks applied:
the anthracite in the inner corner of the lid&lower lashline, the charcoal in the outer half, the bronze in the outer lower lashline

the cream foiled in the inner third + the bronze in the outer parts
